When is the lighthouse open? On the 3rd Saturday of the month February thru October 10 am to 3 pm. We are closed November thru January.

Can I take photos?  Yes, Photos are permitted. Please note large camera bags or backpacks are not permitted up the stairs, and are subject to search.

Can I bring my pet? No pets are allowed inside lighthouse.

Can children climb the tower? Yes, however not recommended for
children under 6 years of age.

What is the price of admission? Admission is free of charge!

Are food and drink permitted inside structure? No, we ask that you refrain from bringing food and beverages (unless medically necessary)

Are there restrooms at lighthouse? There are NO restrooms at the lighthouse. Nearest restrooms are located at the beach parking area.

Can a school/private tour be arranged? Yes. Private tours can be arranged for social/community groups (we request minimum of 25 in group). Scheduling depends on Coast Guard personnel availability/work schedule. Please email us: Point Hueneme Lighthouse
