Lighthouse Keepers

Kim & Rose Castrobran are members of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. They are also members of the U.S. Coast Guard Aids to Navigation Team Los Angeles/Long Beach (USCG ANT LA/LB).  Kim & Rose are Coast Guard trained and certified Minor Aids Technicians. Both of them have assisted CG ANT LA/LB in repairs and maintenance on lighthouses and navigational aids throughout CG Sector Los Angeles, including Point Vicente, Angels Gate, Point Hueneme, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Point Conception, Point Arguello and Anacapa Lighthouses. Kim and Rose are recognized as Coast Guard Auxiliary Lighthouse Keepers by special District Appointment from the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. They have received numerous awards and commendations from the U.S. Coast Guard and Auxiliary for their work on lighthouses.
